Description
NON-MAGNETIC DRILL COLLARS
Non-magnetic drill collar drill pipe (NWBT) is intended to produce axial load onto the drill bit and increase the rigidity of the drill string in terms of oriented drilling with a downhole telemetry system.
The pipes are made of non-magnetic steels RSNM-in RSNM and 110-140, which is a manganese-chromium-nitrogen-austenitic stainless steel, supplied with different levels of strength. The material is produced in accordance with the requirements of the normative documents API Spec 7-1.
Mechanical properties:
Tensile strength: up to ∅ 17 mm min 90 MPa, with ∅ 17 mm min 900 MPa.
Yield: up to ∅ 17 mm min 800 MPa, with ∅ 17 mm min 770 MPa.
Elongation: min 2%.
The relative contraction: min 0%.
Hardness: HB 27 min.
Job impact: 100 min j (test as per API 7,1, taken from the machined workpiece).
Magnetic properties:
Magnetic permeability: max of 1.01.
Magnetic field gradient: 0,0 max MKT.
Corrosion resistance: control intercrystalline corrosion in accordance with ASTM A 262, Practice E.
